Ce contenu est également disponible en français.

This article contains all the information related to geolocation and geofence functionalities. Both of these can be used in various cases, such as targeting users who currently are in a certain city or creating in-store traffic. In order to achieve this type of use-cases, Airship works with various partners, who will be presented below.

Our partners

Bluedot

Description

Bluedot is a SaaS provider of location management tools

Details

To set up a mobile application that makes use of Bluedot location services and Airship push notifications, you need to create a new project in Bluedot Canvas setting up one or more zones and Geofeatures. Also, create a new project in Airship setting up channels and configuring entry and exit triggers.

Gimbal

Description

Automatically send messages based on Gimbal location data. Gimbal supports Beacon for Android and iOS.

Details

Gimbal sends location data to Airship via our Gimbal Adapters. An Airship Gimbal Adapter is a drop-in class for iOS, Android, and Amazon that integrates Gimbal Places events with Airship. The Gimbal data can then be used with these triggers:

  • Location: The message is sent when a device enters or exits a specific geographical location.
  • Location Attributes: The message is sent when a device enters or exits a geographical location associated with predefined attributes.

Herow

Description

You can use Herow’s live location events to trigger Airship messages, sending users content that is relevant to their current location

Details

Herow user identification relies on a customId (usually an email address) to consolidate a user’s location data over time; users must be logged-in to have their data sent from Herow to Airship.

Radar

Description

Track location data and generate contextual events using Radar event type

Details

Radar sends location data to Airship using our server-side Custom Events API. Whenever location events are generated, Radar will send custom events and properties to Airship. This data can then be used with the Custom Event trigger:

  • Custom Event: The message is sent when a specified Radar-based custom event occurs.

Foursquare

Description

Easily build location-aware app experiences. Use location intelligence to create timely, context-driven app experiences that drive engagement and revenue.

Details

Airship can easily integrate with Foursquare’s Pilgrim SDK by associating channels with Foursquare user identifiers. This allows a single user to be consistently identified across both platforms.

Woosmap

Description

Details

Make your app location-aware, and benefit from dedicated Custom Events to trigger messages with Airship. This means you can design personalized Airship Journeys and Automations based on location.
