Urban Airship automatically collects data from your users’ devices, storing them as device properties. Device property tags are used to target specific users and gain insight into your audience. As they are part of our analytics feature, disabling analytics will limit the number of available device property tags.
Every 24 hours our system runs a process that updates the device property tags. As such, device property tags are not available for immediate use, with a few exceptions, such as the timezone and opt-in tags which update more frequently.
If your use case requires a tag within the first 24 hours after installation, we recommend using a device tag instead as these updates occur much closer to real-time.
